Book Flights - Pilgrims need to book their own flights to and from Paris. It is recommended to book a flight which enables you to arrive in Paris on Friday afternoon/evening. For the return, whether you are returning on Monday 9th or Tuesday 10th , it is recommended to book a flight that leaves Paris as late in the day as possible, so that you are not rushed leaving Chartres.

Accommodation - Pilgrims will need to book accommodation in Paris on Friday night as the pilgrimage begins very early on Saturday morning.

There are return trains for pilgrims from Chartres to Paris on Monday after the pilgrimage which get back to central Paris at around 6pm. So it is possible to take a late return flight from Paris to Edinburgh/Glasgow on the Monday night.

However, often Scottish pilgrims choose to spend Monday night in Chartres. If you plan to do this you will need to book accommodation in Chartres on Monday night.
